Another year

Another year has gone, and we are excited to be here in Utah. It is sure different from Washington state.( we miss our friends) I thought of doing something different than sending you all a letter this year. I finally created a blog with the hope of updating it every month. This way you get to know what's happening month to month and it will be a great way for me to take some time to do some journaling.We have experienced numerous and special times with family. Maya and Elijah love all the attention from both sets of grandparents. This holiday season we are excited to spend time with family from Mexico, Kentucky and the new addition to the family Calli, Jenny's and Josh's new baby. We have a lot to be greatful for this christmas, and we hope that you and your family are doing well and may we all enjoy and remember the precious birth our Savior.

Had a great summer

Elijah's birthday was a blast! We can't believe that he is one. He is Maya's little shadow. We worried at little at first when we saw him play with Maya’s toys, hair accessories, Barbies, etc. (basically anything that Maya plays with). BUT, then we realized that it isn’t so much what you play with, but how you play with it. Elijah bangs the toys, throws the hair accessories and eats the Barbie’s hair. I think that we have realized that there isn't anything to worry about. He also loves cars, trains and anything else that he can get dirty with, eat and/or climb.
